I just knew The Black Keys were going to pop up but what surprised me was that KK (who has posted them twice now) hadn’t chosen this song yet. The beginning of this song has been stuck in my head this past week and I’m hoping to get it out by way of posting.

Nirvana — Breed

I, like Rosie, had a clear cut choice for which band to post this week. In fact I couldn’t post any other. While I’ve hardly repeated bands on Soundboard, Nirvana is one of the few I’ve blogged more than once.

Nirvana’s Nevermind will reach it’s 20th this Saturday, this album was the one that popularized the Seattle grunge movement and brought alternative rock into the mainstream.

I felt like quoting what Pitchfork Media said about Nevermind, ”Anyone who hates this record today is just trying to be cool, and needs to be trying harder.”

I think Nevermind is a really great album, and if you haven’t listened to it, apart from the famous Smells Like Teen Spirit, I really don’t know what are you waiting for.

I’m posting the 4th track, Breed because it was the first song that came to my mind when thinking of Nevermind, and I’ll probably be singing this song till I go to sleep.
